Lid Coaster

Materials:

• Sturdy plastic lid (like a mayonnaise jar lid)
• Cork (comes in a sheet)
• Goop crafter's glue

Procedure:

1. Select a lid that is thick and sturdy. Make sure that it is big enough to hold your coffee cups or glasses.
2. Place the bottom top of the lid down on the cork and trace around it. Cut the cork slightly smaller than the circle you drew so that it will fit inside the lid.
3. Apply a generous amount of Goop (my favorite craft cement glue) to the inside of the lid and press the cork firmly down on the glue.
4. Wasn't that fast?? LOL

Added idea: If you are going to make a lot and need a place to store them, why not decorate a small box by painting it, covering with material or wallpaper, and embellishing it with old jewelry, buttons, or wire?
