Cookie Cutter Swag
This is a good project for a small area that
you just cant stand to leave bare.
Materials:
- Wooden beads (mine came from a car seat)
- Twine
- Raffia
- Metal cookie cutters
- Hammer
- Nail
- Odds and ends
Procedure:
- First, make the holes to string the twine through: Using
a hammer and nail, punch holes in the cookie cutters.
Make sure that you have a block of wood under your nail
so that you won't damage your work surface.
- Cut the twine to the desired length, allowing extra for
the ends to be made into loops (to hang the swag by). Tie
a loop at one end of the twine.
- Start threading on beads, the cookie cutters, cinnamon
sticks, mini baskets, antique keys, or anything else you
find around the house.
- Finish by tying a loop at the end of the twine.
- Use the raffia to make a bow and tie at each end.
- Hang and enjoy!
