Cookie Cutter Swag

This is a good project for a small area that you just can’t stand to leave bare.

Materials:

Procedure:

  1. First, make the holes to string the twine through: Using a hammer and nail, punch holes in the cookie cutters. Make sure that you have a block of wood under your nail so that you won't damage your work surface.
  2. Cut the twine to the desired length, allowing extra for the ends to be made into loops (to hang the swag by). Tie a loop at one end of the twine.
  3. Start threading on beads, the cookie cutters, cinnamon sticks, mini baskets, antique keys, or anything else you find around the house.
  4. Finish by tying a loop at the end of the twine.
  5. Use the raffia to make a bow and tie at each end.
  6. Hang and enjoy!
