Pinecone Turkey
Materials:
- Round pinecone
- Yellow craft foam
- Red craft foam
- Feathers
- Sheet Cork
- Google eyes
- Scissors
- Tacky glue
Procedure:
- Cut the sheet cork (or
brown craft foam) into a heart shape and a peanut shape.
Make sure that the heart shape is bigger than the
pinecone, and the peanut shape is about the same size if
not a little smaller.
- Cut a small triangle
out of the yellow craft foam and a red tear-drop out of
the red craft foam. Glue the beak and waddle onto the
head of the turkey (the peanut-shaped cork). Glue on the
google eyes.
- Find a flat spot on
one of the sides of the cone by seeing where it lays best
and glue the heart-shape onto that spot. This forms the
feet.
- Glue the head of the
turkey onto the 'bottom' of the pinecone. You might need
to hold it here until it stays good.
- Glue the feathers in
the back of the turkey, poking them inside the pinecone.
