Gel Air Fresheners

With this recipe, you will be able to make wonderful smelling gel air fresheners just like the ones sold in the expensive bath boutiques. The salt is added to prevent mold from forming.

Ingredients:

• 4-8oz. jelly jars
• Water
• 7 envelopes unflavored Knox gelatin
• Essential oil
• Vitamin E oil
• Food Coloring
• Salt

Procedure:

1. Wash and dry 4-8oz. jelly jars and lids.
2. Measure 3½ cups water and pour into a small saucepan. Bring just to a boil and remove from the heat.
3. Wisk in the 7 envelopes of gelatin, 35 drops of essential oil, 87 drops of Vitamin E oil, food coloring, and 7 tblsp. salt.
4. Pour into jars and close the lid tightly. Let alone until set.
5. Cut a circle of lace larger than the lid. Place over the lid securing in place with the jar ring. Now it is ready for storage or gift giving.
6. When you are ready to use it, simply remove the ring, lace, and lid. Place the lace over the open jar and secure in place with the ring. Now the scent will be able to float through the lace and perfume your room!
