Awesome Fudge
Here's a recipe that was handed down by my mom to me. As far as I am concerned, this is the easiest fudge recipe that I have come across. The flavor is rich and creamy, and has even been compared to Mackinac Island fudge. Best of all, the recipe involves minimal cooking with NO cooking thermometers!
Ingredients:
Melt chocolate in milk over low heat. Remove from heat and add salt and vanilla. Stir only until smooth. Turn onto wax paper-lined 8-inch square pan. Spread the mixture evenly to make the surface smooth. Place in the refrigerator for two hours or until firm. Turn candy onto cutting board, peel off the paper and cut into cubes.
