Caramel Apple Pie

Crust

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well to form a soft dough, adding more water if needed. Roll out on lightly floured work surface and place into pie pan.

Filling:

Spread half of the apples into the pan. Sprinkle flour and spice over apples. Top with remaining apples.

 

Topping:

Drizzle the caramel dip over the pie. In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in the butter until crumbly. Add the nuts. Sprinkle the topping over the filling. Bake the pie for 60 minutes at 375 degrees. Tent the pie with foil if the crust starts browning too rapidly. Remove from the oven and let cool.
