Chocolate
Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2
cup softened butter
- 1 cup
packed brown sugar
- 2 cup
granulated sugar
- 2
eggs
- 2 tsp.
vanilla extract
- 3
cups flour
- 2 tsp.
baking soda
- 2 tsp.
cinnamon
- 3
cups oats
- 2
cups chocolate chips
Procedure:
- Preheat
oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix
together butter, sugars, eggs, vanilla. Add the flour,
baking soda and cinnamon. Mix very well.
- Fold
in oats and chocolate chips.
- If
the dough is a little soft, let sit for a little while,
giving the oats a chance to soak up some of the moisture.
- When
the dough is sufficiently stiff, drop by rounded
spoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
- Bake
until lightly brown on the edges (about 10 minutes).
- Lay
out paper towels on a table.
- As
soon as the cookies are out of the oven, transfer them to
the paper towels to cool.
